What are the benefits of featured listing vs. free listing?
With a free listing, your profile will be listed within your selected cities. You will also be able to view postings on our Job/Event page.
With a featured listing, your profile will be listed within your selected cities plus preferential placement above free listings. You will be able to upload images to your profile page and have the ability to post jobs and events on our site.
How do I sign up?
Simply, go to our sign up page, submit your profile and payment information and your profile will be active immediately. No payment information is needed when signing up for our free membership.
How do I edit my profile?
Log into your account. Go to "Your Account" section on the right side of the page. Click the "Edit Your Profile". Make changes to your profiles - update password, content or city/states. Click Save.
I received an error page when clicking the sign up button on the Sign Up page. What should I do?
Once you receive an error page, it could possibly be a server error (Run time error). This is simply a Google server error (hosting company) which may happen occassional which is beyond our control. The first thing you should do is to clear your Internet History/Cookies and close out your browser. This will clear things out so that the error will not occur again. Restart your Internet Explorer or Firefox browser and try signing up again. If you receive it again, send an email to our tech support at feedback@massagelinkup.com and we will look into it further.
Also, try using Internet Explorer or Firefox if you're having this issues on one of the small browsers such as Google Chrome, Safari or Opera. Although we make every attempt to support these browsers, most of these are Beta browsers which may not be fully functionally, which can cause problems with any site.
Can I change my email address?
No. The only way to change your email address is to create a new profile. Then, send us an email at feedback@massagelinkup.com so that we can delete your old profile.
How do I upload my profile photo?
Log into your account. Go to "Your Account" section on the right side of the page. Click the "Edit Profile Photos." Click the browse button to locate your images/photos on your computer. Click Save. Your photo will take up to a minute to appear on your profile. If you don't see it after a minute, simply refresh (F5) your page.
Do I need a PayPal account to sign up as a Featured Member?
No. You do not need a PayPal account to sign up. PayPal also allows you to use your credit card to make your payment. Once you get to the PayPal page, there will be a link on the page to go directly to the credit card payment page, instead of signing into a PayPal account. Be sure to use the same email address used on the sign up page for immediate activation.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Simply log into your Paypal account and cancel your account. Your Massagelinkup profile will remain active for the duration of your one year subscription. To cancel and remove your profile immediately, please send an email to feedback@massagelinkup.com after cancelling your paypal subscription.
How long does it take to activate my account?
All free accounts are activated immediately. For featured members, your account will be activated immediately when making PayPal payment using the same email address as your Massagelinkup.com profile. If using another email address to make payment, please allow up to 24 hours. In the meantime, you will be able to access your account. However, your featured "features" will not be available (only your free features will be available).
How do I show up in multiple cities?
Login. Go to "Your Account" section on the right side of the page. Click the "Edit Your Profile" link. Select the state, then city that you would like to be listed. Save.
How do I show up in the cities listed under "Top Cities?
If the city that you've listed on your profile is not listed under Top Cities, you can simply add that major city or multiple cities to your profile. This is perfect for someone living in the surrounding area of a major city and want to show up in their city, plus the nearest major city. Go to "Your Account" section on the right side of the page. Click the "Edit Your Profile" link. Select the state, then the city that you would like add to your profile. Save.
How do I change the city name listed on my profile page?
Simply Edit Your Profile by adding the city you want to show up on the profile. Then select "Default" next to the city you want to show on your profile. Save.
How does the zip code search work?
Simply type in your zip code and select whether you want results to show within 5, 10, 25 or 50 miles of that zip code. Then click "Find your Massage Therapist." Results will typically show up with Featured listings first, then free/basic listings to follow.
What types of marketing do you use to get people to find our profiles?
There are mulitiple online initiatives that are in place to drive traffic to massagelinkup.com - search engine marketing, email, online media buying, etc. Massagelinkup.com is owned and operated by Visionary Search, an internet marketing company that specializes in generating online traffic to websites. Therefore, they provide Massagelinkup.com the added marketing edge over other massage directories.
How do I change my password?
Log in to your account, click the "Edit Your Profile" link. Scroll down to the bottom of the page to New Password. Enter your new password and click Save.
Are there any restrictions on the photo?
Photos can include photos of your business, personal photos, logo, events, etc. Your photo cannot include any partial or full nudity, or sexual in nature.
I have a Free listing. How do I upgrade to a featured listing?
Log in to your account, click the "Edit Your Profile" link. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Subscribe button. Then you will be taken directly to our payments page. On PayPal, please use the same email address as used on your profile for immediate activation. Once payment is made, you account will be upgraded as a featured profile.
How do I post a job or event?
As a featured member, you are able to post jobs or events on our Job/Event page. Simply login and click the "Add Job/Event" link on the right side of the page. Select the city and state for your posting. Select whether it is a job or event listing. Then add your details. Your listing will expire in 14 days. In the future, we will offer members a way to filter jobs and event by state.
What content can I include on my profile?
You can include all content regarding your professional massage business, experience or aspirations.
What content can I NOT include on my profile?
You can not include any explicit or vulgar language in content. You cannot include any content regarding any sexual, sensual, tantric or illegal services offered. Your listing will be removed if we find that your listing does not comply with our Terms and Conditions and Code of Ethics.
I'm getting an error message when trying to sign up? It's stating that my profile contains adult content. What should I do?
Make sure your profile does not include any site restricted words such as sensual, erotic, tantric, sexual, etc. Otherwise, your profile will not be approved. This is done to monitor the content on our site (we do not allow adult/sensual content on our site).
How do I get my profile listed on the homepage?
Currently, our homepage profile listings appear randomly and include all Featured members. Within the coming months, we will offer separate membership plans that will include purchasing placement on the homepage.
How do I get a banner listing?
First, contact our sales office for to check availability. You will be required to email your 468x60 banner which can be uploaded to our site immediately or schedule upload for a later date. See our Advertising page for more details.
I see a listing for sexual or illegal massage services, who do I contact?
Contact us immediately at feedback@massagelinkup.com.
Do you allow sensual massage ads?
No
Do you allow postings for tantric massage services?
No.
How do I get my free Massagelinkup t-shirt?
Free t-shirt will be mailed at no additional fee to Featured members, while supplies last. Simply select the t-shirt size and shipping address on the sign up page, and we will ship it directly to you. Although we will try to accommodate your size, we cannot guarantee that your size will be in stock. We will ship the closest size up, if your size is not available.
I have a free listing and want a t-shirt. Can I purchase a shirt separately?
Unfortunately, in order to receive a t-shirt, you must sign up for our Featured listings.
I've signed up as a featured listing but I don't see my listing for the city I selected. What do I do?
First refresh (F5) your page a few times. If your listing does not show up within a few minutes, edit your profile and add the state and city again to your profile. If that doesn't work, email our technical support at feedback@massagelinkup.com, provide them with your first and last name and email address so that we can investigate this issue.
Technical issues - Thank you for your patience during our first month online. If you come across any issues updating your profile or signing up, please check and make sure your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari) is up to date. This should resolve any technical issues you may have on the site.
